This session was such a joy from start to finish! This sweet nursing student is graduating soon, and she brought along her three roommates and her boyfriend to celebrate with her. She was totally down for any pose or crazy idea I threw her way, which made the whole shoot so much fun.

One of my favorite parts? The outfit change—it brought a whole new vibe to the session and really changed things up! I also loved the props she brought: her notebooks, syringes, and stethoscope were the perfect personal touches to highlight her nursing journey. It added such a fun and meaningful layer to the photos.

I’ve had the chance to photograph her roommates in their own grad sessions over the past couple weeks, and it’s been so fun getting to know this awesome group of friends.

We totally lucked out with the weather too—the sun was perfect and it wasn’t the usual Southwest Florida heat (which, let’s be real, felt like a miracle).

She’s about to start her career as a nurse in just a couple of months, and I’m wishing her all the success in the world as she steps into this exciting new chapter.

And hey—if you’ve got any fun, personal, or quirky ideas for your own session (grad or otherwise), I’m always game. If it thickens the plot, count me in.
